The 144th International Training Program of iCISA

International Centre for Information Systems and Audit (iCISA) is the International Training Centre of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India located in Noida close to the capital city of India. The 144th International Training Program is about the Audit of State Owned Enterprises. IAS (International Audit Standards) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) standards applied by the State Owned Enterprises are one of the main focus of the training program.

IAS (International Audit Standards) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) standards are one of the main focus of the training program. The lectures are held by presenters with many years international and Indian experiences. The course schedule contain among others the following standards.

 

• Presentation of Financial Statement, Accounting Policies, Changes in Accounting Estimates and Errors (IAS 1, IAS 8)
• Inventories (IAS 2)
• Property Plant and Equipment (IAS 16)
• Revenues (IAS 18)
• Financial Instruments and its disclosures (IFRS 9, IFRS 7)
• Business combinations, Joint Arrangements (IFRS 3, IFRS 11)
• Fair value measurement (IFRS 13)

 

The purpose of the international standards is to define the principles for the presentation of general purpose financial statements in order to ensure the comparability either by the entity's financial statements for the previous periods or by the financial statements of other entities. Standards contain comprehensive guidelines that are already in use in several countries around the world, and several countries have achieved different levels of implementation. All participants of the training program have useful lectures illustrated by case studies.

 

 

In addition to the theoretical education, the organizer iCISA has enabled to attend two major Indian companies (Indian Oil Corporation, Amul Dairy) in the framework of a study tour.


At the end of the training program, participants will attend the International Conference on Cyberlaw, Cybercrime & Cybersecurity in New Delhi, SCOPE Convention Center.
